Turmeric & Ginger Healing Tea

A yummy milky tea that is great for pregnancy & postpartum. With a turmeric & ginger base it is full of anti-inflammatory and digestive supporting properties. Serve with honey & milk.

Ingredients & How To:

Add the following ingredients into a pot:

  • 1 tsp Turmeric fresh or dried

  • 1 tsp Ginger fresh or dried

  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 or 3 Cardamon pods

  • 2 or 3 Cloves

Add some bits from your garden — I usually pick one sprog of whatever I’m feeling drawn to:

  • Thyme

  • Oregano

  • Lavender

  • Chamomile (If you have dried this works too)

Add 1 litre of water

Don’t worry too much about measurements, just add ingredients intuitively.

Heat until a simmer for 10-20 mins, once it is ready, strain and serve. I only serve what I intend to drink then and there and add the honey & milk to the cup 🤎
Whatever I don’t drink straight away, I’ll pop in a jar into the fridge for later. On a hot summers day I have enjoyed with cold with no honey & milk.
